Schönbrunn & Gloriette

The Schönbrunn palace is located in Vienna and was an imperial summer residence. Now it's one of the major tourist attractions. There are much more attractions than only the palace. There is the Tiergarten, an orangerie, a palm house, an English garden the Neptune Fountain and the Gloriette.

Donauinsel

It's a long narrow island in Vienna and lays between the the Danube river and the "New Danube". There are many bars, restaurants and nightclubs. You have opportunities from rollerblading, cycling, swimming and canoeing at the beach. Also the well-known Donauinselfest is held there.

 

Kahlenberg - Grinzing

The Kahlenberg is located in Döbling (19th District of Vienna). From there you have an excellent view over the city.
Grinzing is a part of Döbling. We visited one of the numerous Heurigen (traditional cafes serving wine).
